Motor Trade Internal Risk

For anybody working in the motor trade industry, it is vitally important that you protect yourself for anything that could go wrong. No matter what type of work is involved  we can design a policy suited to your needs.

Who needs motor trade insurance?

Anyone buying, selling, fixing or working with cars in general should make sure that they have motor trade insurance and if you own a car dealership you cannot afford to be without it. It is vital that anyone working in the motor trade protects themselves from unfortunate scenarios which can occur.

What is included?

Each motor trade business is different and has a different set of requirements, so having a policy designed for you will ensure that you’re covered for everything that could affect your business. You can include your own private vehicle for personal use, your breakdown truck or anything else you wish to have protected.  The policy covers damage caused by accidental external and visible means and occurring in or on the premises.

Liability to Third Parties
The policy will indemnify you against all sums including claimant's costs and expenses which you may become legally liable to pay in respect of:

(1) accidental death or bodily injury to any person other than an employee or a member of your family or household.

(2) accidental damage to:
        (a) any motor vehicle (including its accessories and spare parts while thereon) held in trust by you or in your custody or control
        (b)  other property, not being property belonging to or held in trust by or in the custody or control of the insured

The damage must occur in or about your premises through the negligence of you or your employee who is acting on your behalf, or caused by any defect in the premises or in the machinery or plant.
